Welcome to the Association of 
Trust Companies, Malaysia (ATCM)

 

ATCM was established on 3 August 1995 under the Societies Act 1966. Each member of ATCM is registered as a trust company under the Trust Companies Act 1949 and are regulated by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM).

As of March
 2023, we have 29 members providing trustee services. Unless exempted by CCM, each member is required to be a member of ATCM.

Application for new membership is available and details can be obtained from the ATCM Secretariat office.

Each Members of ATCM focus on the areas of trusteeship that they are most passionate about be it Islamic and non-Islamic services:

Bank Negara Malaysia has issued an AML/CFT guide as efforts to raise awareness and guide the implementation of the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001 (AMLA) requirements by Reporting Institutions (RIs). The AML/CRT Guide is a concise summary of the salient parts of the overall requirements of AMLA. A copy of the AML/CFT Guide is attached below.
